When I googled unforgiveness, this is the AI definition: Unforgiveness is the act of holding a grudge against someone who has offended you, or the choice not to forgive someone who has offended you. It can also be described as a lack of compassion for someone who has wronged you. Sounds about right, doesn't it? When Jesus taught this parable, it was an answer to a question from Peter, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Sunday we will open Matthew 18:15-35 and discover that we should extend forgiveness in the same way that The Father forgives....from a heart of compassion.
